Suprasorb A Dressings
Suprasorb A Dressings is a Non-woven calcium alginate dressing suitable for use on moderate to heavily exuding wounds.Upon contact with exudate it form a gel which binds the exudate and bacteria.The gel is easily removed with normal saline. It is also available as a rope dressing for use on cavity wounds.
Indications
Suprasorb A Dressing is indicated to be used for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Superficial and deep wounds including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, skin donor and skin graft sites and postoperative wounds.
Precautions
- Suprasorb A Dressing is not suitable for dry wound conditions or for full-thickness burns
- Do not use in the case of a known sensitivity to any of dressing's components.
