Kytocel

Kytocel is a highly absorbent dressing that is composed of natural, biodegradable, chitosan fibres. On absorption of wound exudate, it transforms into a soft gel. It can easily be removed in one piece without causing any harm to the newly developed tissue. It is designed for the management of moderately to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds. It can also be used to control minor bleeding in superficial wounds. It can effectively manage pressure sores, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, cavity wounds, donor sites and graft sites, surgical wounds, skin abrasions and laceration, and superficial and partial thickness burns. It is soft and comfortable to use. This dressing is available in a wide range of sizes.
