Tubifast

Tubifast is a two-way stretch elasticated tubular bandage that is used for dressing retention, dry and wet wrapping eczema, the skin covering, and as an undercast stockinette. This lightweight bandage is made from rayon with very fine elastane threads knitted into the fabric to provide light elasticity. It is very easy to use and apply. This bandage also holds the dressing securely without any compression or constriction. It also does not require any pins or tapes to keep them in place. Its radial and longitudinal stretchability allow the patient to move comfortably. The open weave fabric allows the air to circulate over the skin, decreasing the risk of maceration. It also lowers the risk of fraying that also prevents the fiber from being transmitted to the wounds. This dressing is available in different width and length sizes.
