L-Mesitran

L-Mesitran is a collection of medical-grade honey related products. These advanced wound care dressings are used on different wounds including antibiotic-resistant infected wounds. They are non-adhesive, hydroactive gel dressing that contains medical-grade honey with adhesive film borders. They require proper fixation and secondary dressing. The L-Mesitran ointment contains 48% medical-grade honey plus emollients and added antioxidant vitamins. They promote wound healing and induce cell migration. This ointment also prevents secondary clothing from sticking to the wound bed. These L-Mesitrans products are suitable for low to heavily exuding wounds, such as superficial- and partial-thickness burns, diabetic foot ulcers, fungating wounds, arterial foot ulcers. It is also suitable for acute wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts, abrasion, and donor sites.
