They are available in three categories Allevyn Gentle Border, Allevyn Gentle Border Lite, and Allevyn Gentle Dressings. Allevyn gentle border dressing is a combination of absorbent hydrocellular foam pad that is placed between a perforated soft silicones adhesive wound contact layers. Allevyn gentle border lite dressing is showerproof and is perfect for light to moderate exuding wounds. The main purpose of these dressings is to give gentle adhesion to apply dressings on delicate areas of the body. They also promote a moist healing environment and decreases the risk of maceration. They are perfect for sensitive skin and are available in different sizes.
