Prontosan Gel and Solution

Prontosan solution and gels contain 2 active ingredients, an antimicrobial polyhexanide (polyhexamethylene biguanide [PHMB]), and a betaine surfactant (undecylenamidopropyl betaine). It is indicated for cleansing, rinsing and moistening acute and chronic wounds and to prevent and remove biofilms.Prontosan solution can be used for irrigation, or applied to gauze as a soak. The gels are applied to the wound bed during dressing changes after cleansing.
