Drymax Extra Soft Dressings
DryMax Extra Soft is a superabsorbent dressing suitable for heavily exuding wounds. The dressing incorporates the Extra core technology of superabsorbent polymers contained within a polypropylene sachet that facilitates rapid absorption and minimises the potential for wound bed adherence. The Extra core quickly absorbs fluid, forms a gel and avoids leakage. DryMax Extra is suitable for use on heavily exuding wounds, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.
Indications
Heavily exuding wounds. May be used under compression. Either side of the dressing may be used.
Precautions
Not to for use on dry or low exuding wounds, eyes, mucous membranes or in wound pockets (as the dressing will swell as it absorbs).
