Usage:
Aquacel Extra Dressings are suitable for managing a wide range of moderate to highly exuding wounds. They can be used on wounds such as pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, and traumatic wounds. These dressings are particularly effective in wounds with varying levels of exudate.

Ingredients:
The main ingredient in Aquacel Extra Dressings is carboxymethylcellulose, which forms the Hydrofiber® matrix. This matrix interacts with wound exudate to form a gel, creating a moist wound environment that supports healing.

Indications:

Directions for Use:
•    Use a suitable wound cleaner to clean the affected region.
•    Choose an Aquacel Extra Dressing size that offers at least 2 cm of dressing beyond the margins of the wound.
•    Make sure the dressing is well covered by applying it straight to the wound bed.
•    A second dressing or sticky tape might be used to keep dressings in place.
•    Depending on the amount of wound exudate or as instructed by a healthcare practitioner, dressings should be changed.

Storage:
Keep Aquacel Extra Dressings out of the sun and away from moisture in a cool, dry area. Observe the storage recommendations listed on the box.
