Urgoclean® is a soft adherent absorbent dressing indicated for use on sloughy wounds. It is suitable for use for all wounds locally infected or at risk of infection, acute or chronic in nature and traps in all the bacteria, and has haemostatic properties. It is also available as a rope dressing with a probe and with silver for use on infected wounds. This dressing is easy to apply and removable in a single piece. In contact with exudate, UrgoClean gel’s poly-absorbent polyacrylate fibres, swell and bind to the sloughy residue, absorbing and further, draining it to aid elimination. The gel helps to maintain a moist environment which assists in effective healing. Urgoclean dressing offers atraumatic and pain-free dressing changes.
