Ichthopaste is a medicated dressing that is used for treating venous leg ulcers. This dressing is made using open woven cloth impregnated bandage that contains 6.32 % Zinc Oxide BP paste and 2 % Ichthammol BP rolled onto a plastic core. Also contains purified water BP, Glycerine BP, Gelatin BP, Emulsifying wax BP and Phenoxyethanol. It creates a moist wound-healing environment around the wound and reduces skin irritation protecting the surrounding skin.
