The dressing has a breathable, transparent film and allows the exchange of moisture and oxygen. It is made with a hypoallergenic adhesive that doesn’t contain any natural rubber latex and is gentle on the skin. The dressing is sterile and waterproof. It also acts as a viral and bacterial barrier to protect getting contaminated from the outside. The transparency allows the monitoring of I.V. sites without the removal of the dressing.
