Compression Bandages are used in the treatment of venous insufficiency ,venous leg ulcers and oedema. Doppler testing is recommended prior to commencing treatment with compression bandages and should be applied by person with experience in the use of bandaging to provide graduated compression as inappropriate use can lead to tissue necrosis.
