Actilite

Actilite dressing is a soft, non-adherent viscose net dressing that is coated with 99% Manuka honey and 1% Manuka oil. The use of Manuka oil increases its anti-microbial effect. Manuka honey and Manuka oil composition has been demonstrated in vitro to be effective against a variety of major wound infecting organisms including MSRA, VRE and Providentia stuartii. This dressing is suitable for various wound types such as pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, infected wounds, cuts, abrasion, burns, and surgical wounds. Best suited for granulating or epithelialising wounds, the non-sticky Actilite dressing works well for cuts, burns, abrasions, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, and infected wounds. The dressing available in various sizes, including 5cm x 5cm, 10cm x 10cm and 10cm x 20cm.
